My Fathers Long, Long Legs

My Father’s Long, Long Legs is a serious contender for being the best story I’ve read that’s told through twine. I also think it is a good “introduction” to twine, an accessible and strong work to convince skeptics and neophytes of the value of the medium.
Though I can’t say I’ve read all that many twine stories, so my words should be taken with a grain of salt.
Woops, it isn’t made in twine. Let me change my point a little bit then: My Father’s Long, Long Legs is a good introduction to minimally-visual interactive fiction, such as those works made through twine and twee.
i’m pretty sure it’s twine
I want to cast a passing mention to Experiment 12: Chapter Six, which isn’t eligible due to technically not being a standalone game.
Terry’s involvement in Experiment 12 likely also renders it ineligible due to FIG’s policy of not featuring games its editors worked on.
I’m also really happy to see my father’s long, long legs on this list. I doubt it would have received the same level of exposure without FIG’s input, so I’m glad I passed it on.
I was also about to mention Misadventure, but that one’s def more “metal” than “horror”.
It’s more ‘metal’? Awesome!
