i find this extremely disturbing, not so much because of the insane amounts of blood as because the horror doesn’t feel even intentional.
it’s the same feeling i get from playing modern military shooters and watching score things pop up indifferent to some dude’s head exploding; or feminine futuristic voices chanting “double kill” over someone turning into flying chunks of meat, like an embodiment of the commodification of violence; or worse, as if it was only a casual juxtaposition, that whoever made the game was so oversaturated with violence that they didn’t think what they were making was fucking haunting.
BLOODY (interesting though)
i mainly liked being able to pick someone up and chew on them at my leisure

(not talking about the creator of the game, it’s just a feeling that i get sometimes)
This is fun! I like splattering dudes against the wall during a kill frenzy. And in the game.
But seriously, there’s something about the lo-res pixels that makes this game seem more violent than a modern FPS.
