  1. One thing that always comes to mind when playing platformers (or when watching my cat going from furniture to furniture around the apartment) is that humans aren’t really that familiar with the act of jumping. It’s not something we do regularly to solve any problems, outside sports, and it’s not something we do in daily life unless we have to, and it takes some time and energy.

This game feels like it’s a platformer that takes jumping seriously. You can only do it when the place is right and it takes some time, you can’t just do it when as a reflex at the second it becomes evident you need to.

The one problem I found is it isn’t clear which strategy/experience it’s trying to encourage: Sometimes it’ll punish you for rushing forward, and it’ll ask you to stop and think how to overcomes what comes next. Sometimes it’ll punish you for stopping to think, it’s never clear.

And the leaderboard didn’t work for me: I had 50 points, typed my name and pressed enter, and was taken to a leaderboard with a Max on 1st place with 80 points and a no name on second place with 8. But that’s hardly a problem for me, and the game is excellent overall.

Also, there’s like 14 or 16 levels. I guess it’s pretty standard, but it would’ve been cool to know in advance.

  2. Wow, suddenly see your game here 🙂
Thanks for the review. I fixed the problem with the table of records. Your records, you can see HERE 😉

  3. Is that extra door on that one level accessible at all? Does it lead somewhere else?
