I find myself coming back to this again, making me wonder how much more I’ll like it by the end of the year.
Yeah, this seems to get better the more I play it. It’s got a really classic feel.
I’m working on another, not so retro-style game right now, but we were considering porting the game to mobile soon. Haha. With some sort of update.
😀 I’m happy that you enjoyed it enough to play it again. xD. It was made for an intro to game development class (then polished), but the prompt was retro arcade gameplay. It’s cool to see that we might have actually done a decent job.

The definitively short-term goal structure (get to the mecha, destroy the mecha, bust the wrecking ball) makes it feel really satisfying.
Porting this to mobile sounds like a great idea. (But do make sure it doesn’t get mistaken for an endless runner.)
