  1. This is neat, especially the way hitting a wall piece sets you back a bit but generally leaves you enough chance to get back up to speed.

At first it seemed that the 5-lives system was going to feel too forgiving, but I ended up losing the last four all at once after getting hit just before crossing the goal line. I think that’s probably a flaw in the system? That crossing the finish line during the brief reset period means the obstacle line starts spawning right on top of you instead of at least a few seconds back?

    • yeah, there are definitely some issues with balance depending on your situation when you get hit. Being hit right after crossing the finish line (i’m guessing that’s what you meant?) won’t give you much time before the clock hand is on you again. I tried to put less obstacles near the finish line to mitigate that, but still a problem.

  2. i really enjoyed this. I liked a lot of the really nasty later levels, especially when they’d make you pick between the speed of the middle path and the safety of the outer one. very cool.

  3. This is cool, but it seems like arrow keys aren’t the best control method for a circular playing area. Mouse control, or left and right keys that simply rotated the player might have worked better for me.
