In the last store the first capcha had a “0” in it, which is Flixel’s hotkey for volume settings (I think?). Anyhow, this caused me to get stuck. I thought it was deliberate, until I replayed.
I think I’d have preferred it if that was the ending, though.
Super short and simple, but when I finished it I just sat still and THOUGHT about things for a while. Like, whoa. 😯
Maybe it would have been neat to have one last captcha that was deliberately too difficult for the player to solve. And when you fail, the computer takes over and quickly solves it for you.
Man. What happens when AIs can consistently pass humanity tests? Do we up the requirements? What about actual humans who can’t pass the same tests? What are they? If AIs started issuing tests to us, would we be able to adapt and improve as well as they could?
So beautiful. I think there is a deeper meaning to this game. One deeper than any of us could imagine.
