  1. The idea is great. The execution is awesome. The underlying message and tone are fantastic.

The gameplay is horrendously punishing, almost to a fault. The fact that everything is invulnerable, larger and faster than you, and SEEKS you very strongly, and that the goal avoids you weakly… does not make for fair or enjoyable gameplay. Just my two cents.

    • Forgot to mention – the part where you’re the only thing in the game which doesn’t laugh at gravity – which, by the way, seems to change at utterly random intervals. The entire game was fun except the last level or two because the entire game is about a tweak and a half from being physically impossible to win.

      • I found I fell into the rhythm of the gravity switches, so it must be a set time (or maybe a visual cue I failed to recognized consciously). It’s a tough game though, no doubt about that.

        • There were absolutely visual cues – they were just subtle, placed where it was difficult to watch them and also not die, and it felt like the time between the cue and the actual application was inconsistent. Though that might just be me.

          • Hi, it’s me, the dev! I’m really glad that people like Résumé, mostly 😉

Aquin’s right, there is a rhythm to the gravity flipping, and the enemies have learnable patterns as well. Even with that, it’s still a really really tricky game.

[Personally, I have an easier time relying on the audio cue for gravity flips; that way you don’t have to take your eyes off the action]

            Best of luck 🙂

  2. This is really cool. I especially appreciate that what would have been an excellent abstract was made even better by the addition of a story and theme. Great music, too.
