Travel to a world without humans. Where the peace and the beauty of the world reign – [Author’s description]
I’d love to play this, if only I could figure out how to get it to run.
Ah, I should have mentioned that because I had the same problem.
Press ‘p’ at the title screen to play the game. The mouse isn’t captured, so full screen is the only sane option.
i’m stuck 😳
Started in the first room, then clicked on a door and the game froze 🙁
It looks interesting, but I don’t understand any of the text because it’s in Russian.
Lovely exploration! I love the mystery surrounding the location- much is uncertain, but there is definitely a strong hint of something unsetteling here, especially with the ending.
how do you get the ending?
Might want to pull this one, that’s not the creator who uploaded it, and he looks to have a history of doing that sort of thing.
is there reason to believe the creator did not authorize this?
Yeah, I first suspected that, but couldn’t find anything anywhere… I still can’t. If I can ever confirm this, I’ll sort it out.
Edit: It still seems legit. I find TheUnbeholden listed as a username wherever I find a download for either of his games. Also,
both of his games are freely available and already on indieDB. Here’s the other one: https://www.indiedb.com/games/the-train
The Unbeholden’s user page on indieDB also lists a bunch of mods that he didn’t make, as well as some complaints against him. Didn’t respond to the Gamejolt mod CROS’s request almost a week ago either, as far as I can tell.
Possible avenues to contact the developer:
His friend who posted about the game on the Unity forums: https://forum.unity3d.com/threads/151155-The-light-(indie-Game)
His Youtube account: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1dpMo5bJzXA
His Steam/Greenlight account: https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=97293280
Yeah, TheUnbeholden seems to be posting links the same way we do, which is pretty misleading in that context. As for the author, maybe you’ll have better luck than me.
Edit: I’ve updated the post with new info.
Any chance of support Oculus Rift?
