This is hella involved.
why is my components factory not producing? It’s online, and there is plenty of metal available.
You need to have a dude whose only active job is carrying goods in order to move metal from the extractor from the factory without getting distracted.
Also, sometimes the factory won’t produce even when stocked with metal because of insufficient storage space or something.
Basically a whole bunch of counter-intuitive dwarf fortress-y nonsense.
Ah, got it. Wondered if metal had to be transported there, but I figured someone would get around to it if so. I definitely got a bit of DF vibe from a few things, almost like a casual version of it. Fairly entertaining, except when a colonist decides to quit when he runs out of oxygen (instead of just refilling his tank from my ample stores).
you need people to carry oxygen from production to control center.
for some reason, whenever i try to place a metal extractor, there is literally no place i can place it. ❓ rly would appreciate response
You need to place over metal icons.
