I have no idea what I’m doing. This is pointless.
There’s a bit of strategy in there, it’s not completely pointless, but it’s a bit too randomised for there to be much depth to it beyond being a slightly more subtle slot machine.
I think there’s some mechanic specifically designed to screw the player after a while, too.
