I’m not sure precisely why, but the screenshots (and, via elsewhere, description) of this one made me think there was a good chance I wouldn’t enjoy it, but it turns out to hit that great classic arcade feeling square on the head.
(My favorite Locomalito game — and the one I kept playing the longest — is still, without doubt, Viriax. I mention it not to shine this game in a grayer light, but because it predates FIGames by a number of years and ought to be mentioned here somewhere.)
This feels really damn good.

Feels great, looks great, fun to play — and completely merciless. All of which is to be expected if you’ve played any of Locomalito’s other games.
More than worth a few minutes (or hours) of your time.
cool game, lovely music, and the graphics are like new PS4 graphics.

Locomalito is the freaking bomb and had actually abandoned this game until I kept bugging him to finish it over Twitter, haha. Boy am I glad that he did. I’m not sure I’ve played any modern game that emulates what that old arcade feel as well as Gaurodan does.
