Love Punks (the Love Punks/Yijala Yala Project)

Understand this… The Love Punks videogame was created by a gang of 9, 10, and 11 year old Lovepunks from Roebourne in Western Australia. For the last 5 months the Lovepunks have been sweating it out, in 40 degree heat, on computers creating stop-motion animations of themselves and friends in Photoshop and Flash. – [Author’s statement]

  7. I’m an elementary school teacher and wish we could do more stuff like this in the classroom. It reminds me a bit of when I made board games out of paper, except for infinitely more cool.

  11. I found the “making of” video within in game and was blown away by the amount of work put into this game by these kids. Very talented lot they are. Props also to the school department for giving the okay for this type of class to be taught.
