This is weirdly compelling. Too bad about the fixed resolution and sound volume tho.
I hope the author revisits this outside of Ludum Dare.
One more thing — I just noticed that pressing the up key at the beginning of the level is essentially a level skip. Gets CRAZY after a little while.
I want to like this thing. But it sucks so much.

I managed to make it into the center of a big planet a couple times, but never had enough fuel to get back out. I like the feeling of mining in the relatively safe mantle while there’s an apocalypse outside.
