The trick is to fire one shotgun blast near a fish, then to back up while it swims towards you and finish it off with the second. This stops all the fish in the area attacking you, which is what happens when you just straight-up blast a fish before baiting it when it’s in a group. Takes a while – you’ve got to do this around a hundred times – but it’s the safest method I could come up with, and eventually got me to the end screen.
