To answer your questions, yes there is a win condition and the cookbooks do help. The higher your cooking skill the smaller the impact on resentment when feeding Billy. Whether it’s actually possible to get to the win condition is another question entirely. :)

(Also, the whole way distance between the protagonist/billy is modeled as being necessary for you (to avoid despair) but bad for billy (it hurts security) is just really. really neat.)
