OK I'm backing out now, mainly because I'm starting to see the underlying logic behind the solution.
At every poing of the day Lynn has 3 options, one of which is totally passive/defensive, another of which is active/aggressive, and a third one that works as a kind of middle ground.

You reach the ending by neither trying to destroy the thing nor avoiding any sort of action.
One problem being I don't think I’d’ve seen that before knowing what the right combination was.

Mentioning the thing at the meeting clearly “made the day even worse,” so it's easy to interpret that as “that's not what you were supposed to do.” And at the cubicles, “denying it the satisfaction” seems like it's obviously the wrong way to go in a game whose lose condition is suicide.

Same way you can do with every Twine. Right click > View source-code (may vary with different browsers).

It isn't the original *tws file by any stretch of the imagination, but you can see the entirety of the game in a way and you can search for any text to know more or less how the passages work.

Now, I won't deny this is beautiful, and it's a joy to be reminded that Gregory Weir isn't dead. But the winning condition here is a bit random, basically guessing a 3-digit password on a base-3 numeral system. Or exhausting the combinations till you get it right. Or viewing the source code to read the solution:
if $meetingchoice eq 'mention' and $bathroomchoice eq 'flee' and $cubiclechoice eq 'deny'
Maybe I missed the clue to the right combination because it's in that text in the bathroom that fails to load properly?
