  1. Yes! I played this a week or two ago and was really
    impressed.

is it possible to post spoilers for this? anyways… play it first…
Near the end I spotted a temple. There was some magical looking stuff happening around it and I hoped reaching it would save me. I spent the last seconds running towards it, shooting glances back to appreciate the spectacle. I made my friend play and as soon as he recognized what was happening he rushed to where he thought the impact point was and shouted challenges at the screen for a minute or two..

  2. Sound and lights are awesome.. I really like this game! Even that idea what all you cant see in 10 just seconds.

  3. I got stuck in a hole my first play through.

  4. It’s a very beautiful game and I love the music. I got stuck in a hole though a bit past the big tower. I’m also a bit unsure if I like the shrubs and plants. They match the sun though.

  5. That was extremely good!

    Spoiler Inside SelectShow
  6. Success! I found the edge of the world and walked off into the void, falling away past the Earth and transcending my dependance on that doomed sphere. The calamity cannot best me!

    • I fell out too. I felt safe. Watching the world end from a safe distance. It was a good feeling. ๐Ÿ™‚

  7. that was awesome. and beautiful. i kept anticipating the top of each hill, and then a total pay off when I saw new things on the other side. I liked the sparse plants.

I was sitting, idly enjoying the time-dilated waterfall, and then I turned around, and there it was in the sky…

  8. Mac version doesn’t open for me ๐Ÿ™

    • right click on the app and click show package contents then go contents then macos then there should be a file

open terminal, type in chmod +x and drag and drop the file in. the game should run then

  9. Once I discovered what was happening, I sort of ran scenarios through my mind. Coming to terms with things, a sort of bliss. And it impacting the second I was crossing over this mountain was beautiful, this game really made me think about my own life. Beautiful work.

  10. can someone please tell me what happens i get scared when i dont know what is going 2 happen in games so someone say what you see and what happens PLEASE!!!!!!!!!! ๐Ÿ˜ฅ

    • A meteor will strike. You have plenty of time. You can’t outrun it, it will turn towards you. The screen just goes white at impact.

    • Don’t spoil it for yourself. Trust me, it isn’t so much a scary thing as it it a… sudden realization. If you know in advanced, though, it has no meaning or impact. Go into it pretending nothing happens. Just have a wander. Look at the buildings, the scenery, enjoy the music.

    • Nothing scary happens, its a thing you should experience yourself though.

  11. Amazing experience, i felt so away from everything while playing this, i also felt genuine feelings about the meaning of life. Incredible

  12. Funny, I actually thought that it was following me, so for my second playthrough I had hoped to lead it away from the city, to within a place which I thought would isolate the calamity… To my disappointment, it didn’t really work out that way, now did it?

  13. this game is really quite amazing. once you realize what is going on its really good

  14. I’m not gonna spoil it, such a beautiful game :’) I love games like these, apart from CoD and all of that action nonsense, i wish the internet was made of games like this, truly amazing content. I really wanted more time to explore the world, but then i realized why it was so slow and what was going to happen, the end explains the whole story. I also wish i had the music stuck in my head or atleast as an mp4 or something, it was absolutely STUNNING. I hope you make more games in the future. ๐Ÿ™‚

  15. What is the name of the music?

  16. Amazing game. As I saw it coming I felt more connected to my character than in any other game. No story or dialog needed. As it hit and my screen started turning white I was wondering who I was leaving behind.

One thing I wold add is being able to go into buildings, or maybe just climb some towers so we can get a good vantage point.

Sorry to be greedy butan we get the music for MP3 please?

  17. ๐Ÿ‘ฟ The linux download won’t even open ๐Ÿ‘ฟ

  18. Can you get the music anywhere? I love it…

  19. This is amazing. For such a simple concept, it works so well. Everything is executed brilliantly, from the gorgeous lighting to the beautiful music. Love it.

  20. I’ve been scanning all the files to try to find something that could possibly represent a sound file, the best I can find is something to do with loading sound from a file location in the config, but I cannot find this location, so maybe someone better with Unity than me can locate the music files.

  21. holy crap, i was crying

  22. I don’t know what the “calamity” is… can someone explain :/

  23. I was behind the big ass tower when it ended. i was so confused I had to play it again then I cried ๐Ÿ™

  24. Beautiful. Absolutely beautiful. This may sound odd to say, but I enjoyed my first playthrough so much that I went and deleted all the game files as soon as I finished. From other comments, I know that there were some things I did not have time to see, but I will force myself to live with that. Nothing can ever live up to that first time…

    • It’s kind of like a short life… you miss so much, but what you see is truly amazing, and you couldn’t ask for more

  25. This is an amazing game huge credit to the composer and the creator and its 10 min long

  26. I saw this on Three Free Games Friday by Dan of NerdCubed and was pretty damn excited to play it. Unfortunately the Linux download seems to not be working (empty archive although the file size is about 40 MB), and the Windows version would not allow me to use my mouse to look around. I hope this can be fixed soon (especially the Linux download, which might be easily fixable).

  27. absolutly amazing game amazing music visuals great and lighting is awsome

  28. What locations have you guys found?

    <>

I’ve found the Tower, the Dam, the Waterfall Fortress, Stonehenge, and the World Tree. I also climbed one of the eastern mountains and jumped off the edge of the world. Did I miss anything cool?

    <>

    • Yes, you missed one:

      SPOILER:
The giant hand and head in the sand. To reach them, go in direction to the sun (you can evade the holes going to the left of the sun).

  29. I cried at the end of my first playthrough. I was made sad at the end of a world than never was but I never knew and was glad that I had the opportunity to experience some of it. One could extrapolate the above to reality as well, such a vast interesting world, so little time to see it in.

    Thank you.

  30. I watched the Three Free Games Friday too, and I knew I had to play it. I sort of guessed at the end of the TFGF, though. But I thought it was going to be a nuke, not a Meteor. It would have been more symbolic of today’s horrors in my opinion, but this is still amazing game. No complaints, no regrets.

  31. The Mac download doesn’t seem to want to open for me, and the Unity webplayer keeps crashing after it loads without fail.

  32. I too came from Three Free Games Friday by Nerdยณ on youtube…and yeah, this is such a good game, After the game ended, I really didn’t think anything about it, but, now, yeah…it’s weird, the ending was interesting, so simple, and yet, it also makes you think, too.

  33. I nearly cried my second time playing, the beautiful world presented to me was being destroyed only after experiencing 10 minutes. I was so exited to explore my first time and I felt like a kid playing in a park for the first time, I knew that since I knew what was going to happen it was so much worse…

    Thank you.

  34. It won’t extract on linux, says missing file not found. Please see if you can resolve this, perhaps compressing into a tar file. It’s linux native. Thanks.

    • Hey, I’m the creator of the game. I’m seeing several people mention this. I didn’t have a Linux machine to test on and I honestly never thought the game would get much attention. I’ll try to look into why it doesn’t run on Linux. Sorry for the inconvenience.

  35. I only just started this today and already I could feel the power in this work. When I saw the cataclysm approaching I was horrified and instantly wanted to see if there was something I could do to stop it…thank you for that.

  36. I awaken to a blinding light. Where am I? I need to know where I am… or, who I am. I look to the sky. The sun is brighter than normal, and larger at that. Well, no time to waste wondering why, I’m off. As I move, I begin to notice how slow things are. There is a tree in the distance. Somethings wrong, why is everything so slow? A petal or a leaf will blow by now and then, but why is it so slow? The sun seems to become ever brighter and larger in my presence. Wait, that’s not the sun, is it. I can only begin to understand what is happening right now. Bu that won’t stop my instincts. I run, as things become so unbearably white, I whip my head back towards the “sun.”

  37. I walked off the map on my first playthrough and just saw the THING hit from a distance…

  38. There is a glitch that allows players to get stuck. It is very annoying and not fun when you know you only have ten minutes. It completely ruined my experience.

  39. the meteor is a force cannot defeat, you cannot outrun it, all you can do in this world is explore the beautiful landscape and accept your fate.

  40. Stunning visuals, though it did feel a bit like a compilation of animation styles which looks a bit off, and shadows and lighting on the shrubs could go a long way at least for me.

I didn’t realize what was happening until about twenty seconds left when the music really picked up and I started looking around and lo and behold…

Beautiful game, my only peeve was that the graphics could have been connected better and been more polished, but it still manages to deliver an amazing experience.

    9.2/10

  41. I am the wither boss apparently…

    Cool

  42. SPOILERS!

    Wow….
Its even better a second time. I was in a lake thing approaching a stone waterfall place, when I turn around and see the thing coming. I run over to it. I was pretty sure it was coming for me, then I realize its just huge as it collides with the tower and snaps it to pieces.

The most emotional game I have ever played
    10/10

  43. That wounderful world was to good to be true ๐Ÿ˜ฅ

  44. This game is amazing! at first i was thinking hmmmmm how will it end? i saw a glowing ritual rock then i saw a giant meteor. it made me realize how sucjh a beautiful time can be destroyed. i got here by nerd cubed check him out but this game is so sad at the end
    ๐Ÿ˜ฏ

  45. Such and amazing game. Didn’t realize there was anything was happening until i was about 8 minutes and looked up. Seeing what was in the sky and knowing what was going to made me feel calm. At first i tried to move away but then i waited for it and felt at one with the character. A beautiful game that everyone should play

  46. The Linux archive doesn’t extract properly, so I used the Windows one. It works well under Wine.

  47. Absolutely amazing game. It’s incredible how quickly you can come to terms with what is happening because the game fills you with such a calm feeling.
    Keep making games like this!

  48. That was beautiful I was sent here by the greatest indie game discoverer of all time…he found a great game I was touched by it the wonderful yet simple graphics and what happen after ten mins left me emotionally shocked despite it only being ten mins long its one of the best games I’ve played all year! ๐Ÿ™‚

  49. great game 1/10

  50. That was one of the most beautiful game I have ever played. The ending was amazing and the sereneness of the environment felt amazing. I wish I had an oculus rift to play this game with.

  51. I genuinely felt emotional playing this. I became more connected to my character than in any game I’ve ever played. I started thinking up scenario’s in my head, and I felt such emotion at the ending. This game is beautiful. I saw it and ran towards it, wanting to know what it was. When it hit close to my character and the screen went white, I almost wanted to cry. Who, or what was I leaving behind? This game is so emotional, beautiful, no story or dialogue needed.

  52. This game is amazing. The calming, serene atmosphere was beautiful. When the music really started getting fast, and you looked up into the sky and saw it, your natural instinct was to run. Soon comes the realisation that you cannot out-run it. You want to panic, to stop it, but you accept you cannot do anything about it. Then it hits and the screen goes to white. The beautiful world lost forever. This game has made me re-think my entire outlook on life. We have few precious, beautiful things in this world. But nothing lasts forever, so we must embrace these things while we still can.

  53. I walked, saw some poorly rendered stuff, listened to some stock music and the screen went white.

Am I missing anything? Because honestly, I feel like I’ve wasted 10 minutes of my time when I could have been doing something else more fun.

  54. Truly an awe inspiring game, i got so lost and out of touch with the real world and to think it was only 10 minutes.

  55. Archive for linux is damaged and won’t extract, please fix it. Thanks in advance.

  56. ***SPOILERS***

This is amazing. Just amazing. This game invoked so many emotions in me, something that appears shallow can be quite deep. The feeling you get when you reach the top of a small hill, and see a big temple, or a city, is just amazing. It is so great to wander around, and then find out that there is an inevitable end coming. You’ll quickly try and find shelter, or just admire the spectacle of this world’s inevitable end.

    Thank you for making this.

  57. This isn’t a game. It is, however, one of the most unique, strange, and truly emotional experiences I’ve had. Even Shadow of the Colossus’ ending didn’t affect me like this did. At the end I just stared at the white screen for a minute or so, and I’m still not quite sure how to react. Thank you to the developers for this.

  58. Just wow, only WOW this ia amazing

  59. In the start there are some key configuration buttons. Fire 1,2,3 horizontal jump etc.. But I can’T use them in the game.
10/10 great game btw. Please don’t read the comments spoilers will ruin your experience.

  60. Amazing game. very beautiful! just one thing… Im pretty sure the character is like 1 foot tall… if you go the any structures like the fountain or torches you seem very short haha! ๐Ÿ˜€

  61. It’s not an FPS, mind you, but this game was not made for that, this game was made for the spiritual attribute. and, in all aspects is a game.

  62. 1st) Hello Percrastinators!

    2nd) AWESOME!
First time i went in i was amased by the ambience. I was exploring the world and wheni reached the waterfall the screen went white and i had no idea what actually happened. So i came back to read the comments (aware of the spoilers) and i found out the sad truth that a meteorite actually stroke the world. I would have never guessed!

The second time i played, after i saw all the comments and spoilers, i wanted to see the actual ending.
So right after the start, i turned around and i climbed the mountains right behind the spawning area. It seemed to be the perfect place to see it happening.
The meteorite looked like it was 10m in diameter. I tought it was going to hit the ground and disappear. But instead, it hit the tower and just then i realised that it wasn’t in front of me, it was quite far and it was huge. I was looking at the tower being shattered when the screen turned white. And i watched it for more than three minutes before realising it was all over.

    It is just so amazing!

    PROs:
    – Sound. Fits perfectly.
    – Particles. Makes the player enter deeper into the ambiance.
    – Extremely customizable rezolution and quality (i personally needed it to reduce the lag and make it playable).

    CONs:
I couldn’t play the game at maximum quality so i’m not going to complain about the graphics. And, becouse it was a three man project, i think it is very good.
    – The lack of the ability to jump.
    – The world is pretty small. (again, it is a three man project, so i am amazed you could make it this far)

Overall, this game is impressive. I hope a bigger team will take it and polish it, adding more content and maybe better graphics. It has great potential.

Congrantulations to the Creators! Enjoy! ๐Ÿ™‚

  63. I was fairly certain it was the end of the world, I thought the sun was exploding or something. Not expecting that when I turned around, but a little predictable :p

  64. Fantastic.
Why hasn’t this received more attention?

  65. its incredible how you can get so attached to a character in 10 minutes without knowing anything about them

  66. its a good game n all but can someone explain to me why it deserves 10/10 and what its telling me

  67. Amazing experience, i was sucked right in by the atmosphere. As the end came, I could do nothing but sit there, even after it was over, I sat riveted in my seat. This isn’t really a game, I wish there was another name for it but it’s amazing.

  68. This game is beautiful, i would suggest going into it blind, but make sure to look up…

  69. Wow, simply stunning. It’s amazing to think of all that can and cant be done in a mere 10 minutes. Only problems is that I have played this game twice now and have not seen what ends it, just a glimpse of black and then the screen goes white. I just love the sun and the light that comes off the side of objects and all of the beautiful scenery. All in all greatest idea for a game ever, I can’t believe it’s free and all the work that went into it! This game is truly amazing the sound track and all made my day, I love this game. I will not rate it because i do not like ratings but I will say this game is better then some AAA titles.

  70. Saw the meteor made my experience 10 times better.

  71. this game is grate it is beautiful i love the city at the back at the map i would love to put a seen like this at the end of a game i got a lot ideas from this a lot more than i expected.i play this 1 or 2 a day after school and work its so peaceful.

  72. **** Spoilers ****
This game was a gaming experience that I’ll never forget, the feeling of anticipation and excitement when I ran over hills, and without dialog or story-line still feeling like you are your character… And the acceptance when you see the meteor. I have sworn to myself that I’ll never play again, because that experience was my own and will never be repeated. I feel that, despite the increasing trend of useless, boring, and quite honestly tedious games, TimeFrame really hits the nail on the head.
    10/10, that experience… Jaw-dropping.
    **** Spoilers End ****

  73. Amazing. A game that started so beautiful, the tree T_T, became so terrifying. Felt the ending fade could have been handled with a lil more impact, and final piece of music a bit too cheesy?

On a second playthrough I wondered if the rings around the large tower were a walkway, that it might take 10 minutes to climb… Great use of lightrays. Really beautiful game and the lack of sound effects was really well observed.

  74. its like someone to my image of heaven and made a game out of it

  75. Wow, this is a 10/10!
For the 1st time i was ending in the GREAT CITY and i couldnt see the meteor when the game was ending because i was hidden between the buildings and structures but the music was telling me the game was ending, so i thought it was all a dream that the protagonist was waking up or something like that when the window turned white.

I loved that idea. The 2nd time i played the game i saw the meteor and everything came to my senses! I would like to have felt the experience with the meteor the 1st time, but i couldnt. Mine was something like “waking up from a dream” or something else. But hey! This game has a lot of things to see! In the 5th time i found the damp and the waterfall!! This is better than most AAA games. NICE WORK.

  76. It looks like the linux zip file is corrupted. Tried downloading it several times, and it doesn’t unpack.

  77. To fix the broken linux archive, use

    zip -FF “Time_Frame_Linux.zip” –out “TF_Fixed.zip”
Hit “y” if it prompts you.

I had troubles getting past the “Time Frame” screen once I ran the x86 file inside the archive.

    • After I did this, I got an error extracting the last file (sharedassets1.assets). The game locked up while loading also. I download the Windows version and extracted the sharedassets1.assets file to my Time Frame_Data folder and was able to play.

  78. Everybody’s first adventure i believe was the greatest.
I didn’t notice the tower in the beginning and ran for a wall, finding the “spirit stones? Afterwards I touched the wall at the end of the world, that’s when I noticed the tower. I started running after it remembering i had only about 3 mins to accomplish this. After running for what seemed forever did i climb the hill dividing me and the tower. from that elevated view i saw the meteor. At the time i thought it was after me and i started running towards the tower, hoping for safety. I got close to the base of the tower when I looked behind myself to see if the meteor was still there. It was right next to me. I knew i had a matter of seconds to reach the tower. As I was dashing to it the meteor was in the left side of my vision. It was my mission to touch that tower at this point, knowing i couldn’t save myself. Right before i took my last step to touch the tower it was thrusted into oblivion. Along with myself. That was my story! ๐Ÿ˜› people should tel theirs.

  79. The game was good but I didn’t see “it” until the last few seconds so it didn’t really have as much of an impact on me. ๐Ÿ˜ฅ

  80. I would give this game a 7-10. I love the music the graphics and ‘what happened’. It would be cool if you could do something to stop ‘it’ from coming at you.

  81. Even thought I didn’t notice it until the last few minutes, I still started to cry for some God-knows-why reason. Absolutely magificent.

  82. this game is going to be great, my friend told me to get this game so yeah its gunna be awsome ๐Ÿ˜›

  83. towards the en I found the statue of a man in the desert, as I climbed onto his forehead I saw what was about to happen. It was such a weird feeling as it passed right over me. then I saw where it was headed

  84. โ“ Why does no-one seem to have upon opening this game realised EXACTLY what it was. It was very predictable. People should be smarter than thinking that it would end without an apocalyptic meteor.

  85. I cant get a good frame rate but i really want to experience it myself plz make a version for wimpy computers

  86. the Linux version’s ZIP file won’t open.
I just get “An error occurred when opening the archive”

  87. Very impressive. One word will describe it, BEAUTIFUL! It got my heart racing at the end because of uncertainty but i loved it!

  88. i got to a town and walked up to a building, then the screen faded

  89. I made a video of it!
    Check it out!
    https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uNykZ907qQA
This game was pretty amazing, you could work a bit more on it and have something better than The Journey

  90. Impossible to extract the linux archive, it must be corrupted ๐Ÿ™
I downloaded twice but no luck. Could you please check the file and reupload?

  91. I found the Head buried into the sand, climbed it and watched the calamity fall. It was beautiful… I would give anything to have a dream like this.

  92. ๐Ÿ˜€ ๐Ÿ˜ฎ ๐Ÿ˜ฏ ๐Ÿ˜• ๐Ÿ˜† ๐Ÿ˜ก ๐Ÿ˜ก ๐Ÿ˜ก ๐Ÿ˜ก ๐Ÿ˜ก ๐Ÿ˜ก ๐Ÿ˜ก ๐Ÿ˜ก ๐Ÿ˜ก ๐Ÿ˜ก ๐Ÿ˜ก ๐Ÿ˜ก ๐Ÿ˜ก ๐Ÿ˜ก ๐Ÿ˜ก ๐Ÿ˜ก ๐Ÿ˜ก ๐Ÿ˜ก ๐Ÿ˜ก ๐Ÿ˜ก ๐Ÿ˜ก ๐Ÿ˜ก ๐Ÿ˜ก ๐Ÿ˜ก ๐Ÿ˜ก ๐Ÿ˜ก ๐Ÿ˜ก ๐Ÿ˜ก ๐Ÿ˜ก ๐Ÿ˜ก ๐Ÿ˜ก ๐Ÿ˜ก ๐Ÿ˜ก how do you play it

  93. hey man i need some legal permisssion to monetize and use your video game footage on youtube can you email me direct permission to use the gameplay footage that would be great

  94. I scanned around wondering what I should do… I started by going down the hill and looking at a fire with magical script… I soon found a statue of a person or maybe a giant who had passed away… but then after I saw this statue I noticed something in the distance in the sky… I freaked out and didn’t know what to do so I ran to a town not to far away from the giant and soon enough the calamity happened. I would totally play again, but my experience that I had was way to good to give it another go and ruin the wonders that I got from the first play through.

  95. this is the gratis game iv ever had the privalig to play the mesig i got from plaing this game was not the same as me freand but i think that is wot the creater mad it for . this game is wot games can do to pepel and i lov it for that ๐Ÿ˜›

  96. The mac version won’t unarchive for me. It says that the files are incomplete and are unable to be unarchived.

  97. When I heard the premise of this game it was obvious what was going to happen. I was walking around and kept thinking, man how long can ten minutes be? After maybe one or two minutes, I totally was lost, I found a town and couldn’t think of anything else. Then the obvious happened, but I was so wrapped up in the town I didn’t realize it until a dim shadow covered my body. Turning around all I could think was how little time i had left and how much more I wanted to see and do, and then that’s when it struck me… the feelings this game is suppose to invoke. Very powerful game.
