I was tickled by the riderless scooter, but it makes sense now.
Not gonna lie, I was kinda hoping for a game that was just about waking up early and delivering the mail surrounded by idyllic scenery.
Still enjoyed this a whole lot.
Spoilers-
I expected the game to offer me choices, like Papers Please. I was dissapointed that I had to open every piece of mail, had to visit every house and had to deliver every piece. That meant I was barely interested in the mail I was reading – it didn’t effect me.
I was expecting it to go curvy from the too-nice atmosphere of the game (the little sounds when you click through the dialog boxes are my favourite touch), but the ending went far further than that!
I was hoping for less linearity, but I ended up enjoying this a lot. I felt very creepy while playing it, though! It was cool how all the neighbor’s stories intertwined and had some nice twists.
