It's kind of annoying that the end screen at 10.000 points can be clicked away with space. By that time your used to pick up stuffs fast and ramming space constantly, so i completely missed it the first time, and the game restarted.

Wow, I found that so cathartic! I think I might bookmark this and play it whenever I get stressed out about cleaning.
I'm really glad that the game lets you continue after you hit the 10,000 points. It took me twenty days, but I finally got the whole place clean. Phew! Felt so great. http://i.imgur.com/xtR43vh.png
I like how this models the player/character relationship a whole lot. I'm a hoarder (although I don't feel compelled to buy more junk, thankfully) and whenever I clean up it's like I'm tapping into this other persona in my head who's all cold and methodical and that let me gets some distance on the things that I am needlessly attached to. So this game felt very familair to me - the conflict between the persona and my "main" self, mapped onto the player and the character.
I like the nuance of message this game has. So long as you have money, you end up buying junk - you can't stop your character from doing this. But by cleaning up the room assiduously in the day, you make it so that it's much easier to keep the room in check, and that it's easy to trash the junk you buy. In a sense you're never "solving" the problem, just finding a way to live with it constructively. If you stopped cleaning the room would just get worse and worse and worse.

The only thing I think I'd like is if your willpower fluctuated. Maybe if you had "bad days", or if the willpower ticked down when you didn't clean for a certain length of time.
My stepdad's a hoarder and this is bringing back some memories, including him bringing *more* junk home.

He's mostly reformed now after marrying my mom.

Really great game! kind of has the Katamari Damacy look going on.
