My stepdad’s a hoarder and this is bringing back some memories, including him bringing *more* junk home.
He’s mostly reformed now after marrying my mom.
Really great game! kind of has the Katamari Damacy look going on.
Wow, I found that so cathartic! I think I might bookmark this and play it whenever I get stressed out about cleaning.
I like how this models the player/character relationship a whole lot. I’m a hoarder (although I don’t feel compelled to buy more junk, thankfully) and whenever I clean up it’s like I’m tapping into this other persona in my head who’s all cold and methodical and that let me gets some distance on the things that I am needlessly attached to. So this game felt very familair to me – the conflict between the persona and my “main” self, mapped onto the player and the character.
It’s kind of annoying that the end screen at 10.000 points can be clicked away with space. By that time your used to pick up stuffs fast and ramming space constantly, so i completely missed it the first time, and the game restarted.
Ok i had to make a video about this game: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1FiTwXXrYvc
