(You can choose to think of it as a match either for “on fire” or for “go higher”. In my accent all three are the same length, but I’m nonetheless only likely to intuit an extra syllable with “higher,” just because of the orthography — or, more specifically, because an -er suffix usually adds a clear extra syllable. So…either count seems reasonable enough? Also, this is a silly thing for Helmet to bother nitpicking about. Neat little game.)

It’s debated on how many syllables are in “inspire,” two or three. Merriam-Webster said two but the way it is voiced depends on the accent (I happen to say it with two).
