It looks like the clock in the corner is in sync with the game movement, right? (If you didn’t catch that, you might have missed how it periodically flashes?)
To the extent to which pausing might be possible through title-bar trickery, I’m pretty sure that’s unintentional. Our small hero is a time-traveller, see, and as such is surely him/herself immune to the effects of chrono-meddling. I’d say you’re meant to just become more efficient — scrappier, if necessary — at casting your time-altering spells.
The hero’s actions and objects in the level’s actions are based on your system clock. When the clock flashes, an action happens on behalf of the hero or objects in the area. Use this to figure out what to do (Should not be difficult from here)
For the REALLY lazy and unaccomplished, here you go…
You must adjust your system clock to beat the game.
Part 1: Adjust the clock’s seconds to nearest increment of 5 to jump (Ex: 00, 05, 10, 15, 20, 25, 30, etc.)
Part 3: Adjust the clock to make the blocks disappear before the hero runs into them (Or keep them gone until the hero passes the blocks) The seconds I used were 11 and 15. 11 Keeps the first one in the air, 15 makes the other one disappear. Make sure you use 15 quickly, or your hero will run into the second block.
Part 3:
Same rule applies as to the first part, only you must wait for the hero to jump beneath the key, and set the time immediately to another increment of 5 to make him “double jump” into the key.
Congrats! You could not figure it out yourself. Maybe a little more personal resolve would have made this game more entertaining for you.
Oh my god, that’s clever. Especially the last level.
But this game thus technically lies.
Sort of!
(Though I can think of a couple ways of fictionalizing the player’s actions to keep the title mostly truthful.)
I thought there were going to be more tricks like on the last level. I was relieved and disappointed that there weren’t.
Will someone spoil this thing for me? I don’t have all day to figure it out.
A hint (hope these spoiler tags work):
Slightly bigger hint:
I get how this works but (SPOILER: how do you pause)
Sorry i don’t know how to do the spoiler things.
For those too lazy to figure it out on their own…
For the lazy and unaccomplished, here you go…

Would have been nice to have the proper spoiler tags to use here. Oh well. Don’t look at my last comment if you want to figure it out on your own.
If you look at my last comment and wanted to figure it out on your own, shame on you. Your bad, not mine. There was sufficient warning.
I added spoiler tags to your post. For the future, it’s “spoiler” in square [] brackets.
