Knowing the story completely spoiled it for me. And I really want more lit-based games, but with a straightforward translation it seems lacking and taking too many liberties makes it into something else? Not sure what should it look like.

More generally Kafka should be a rich seam for game ideas: I like the idea of an ironic take on The Trial which also parodies the ‘why the fuck did I die?’ moments that you get with bad or poorly communicated game design.
