Hey David,

I love your response to the game. I'm glad you found it so captivating.

Majesty is, I believe, level 8 of 9, although some of them are pretty small.

Both your and Eric's thoughts on how to improve the game will be useful for tweaks and future games. Thanks for the input!

Cheers,
 J

I don't know what is it about this game. At first I didn't even know there was a flashlight feature, and I changed my screen settings to be able to play it. I knew the game was doing something right if I was willing to do that instead of the much more easy solution of simply closing the tab.

Then the developer's page went down, so I downloaded it and kept playing. Again, it needed to be really captivating for me to play it outside the comfort of my browser.

It was a really nice experience, with little exceptions: mostly an impossible jump that I actually managed to pull off the first time, and then spent years trying to repeat it without realizing there was an actual puzzle to be solved in order to make the jump easy by simply pushing a hidden button and raising a blue platform.

The story is interesting and the puzzles varied, given the restraint of all of them consisting only on locating blocks and placing them in holes. Also, it has so much more levels than you'd expect at first (the last one being the 6th I think, level code Majesty, with a little last challenge with the non-working-for-me level code !!!!!!!!).

I would've definitely liked either shorter levels or mid-level checkpoints, but otherwise this is a pretty rad offering.
