Man... I had so much fun with this game. Strangely addictive, I wanted to explore the whole world. Visuals are enoughly simple and retro. And the ending... realy makes me want to play it again. Great find.

Whoa, I think this might be fantastic, though I'm not sure I can put my finger on why, exactly. It might have something to do with not knowing at first what sort of game it is, and then how one or two of the elements promise something further (esp. the stat-keeping, but also the 'Vidya' bit) which is ultimately subverted in a pretty meaningless but visceral way. At the moment before being thrown back to the desktop, I was convinced the game was about to turn into something much different than what came before it, and yet was not unsatisfied by its sudden end. It's possible I'm being suckered by its surface charms, but I'm nonetheless left feeling that I very much like this game.
