This is a sandbox construction game / toy, created for for the 23rd Ludum Dare 48 hour competition, the theme of which was “tiny world”. The goal is just to make a landscape you feel proud of*! It works a bit like Triple Town, with some Settlers influences too. Use a bit of experimentation and trial-and-error to learn how the game’s rules work, and then try and make whatever landscape you feel like. – [Author's description]

This is really great, kudos on putting this together in just 48 hours!
Reminds me of Doodle God and the Grow games, with the spark of some more interesting player agency. It feels like there’s the seed of something bigger here.
I’m really interested in the notion of self-building worlds at the moment, as a framework for self-describing (tutorial-free) games. Clockwork systems with prescribed behaviours/interactions, initially dormant, with many layers for the player to peel back. Set it going and watch, recognize patterns and use them to nudge the system into revealing the next layer.
