I thought it might have been consistently whenever activating a shield across a screen break, but apparently not. I tried in Chrome and in Opera, and the last time — back in Chrome — I got stuck in a wall upon entering a new screen and decided that was enough.)

That said, I kept trying as many times as I did because of the smart and surprising shift that happens (presumably) halfway through. Definitely intriguing.
