  1. This is great. It was a really smart choice to have the news items scrolling up throughout the day, providing that extra bit of meaningful time pressure as you wait for more suitable events, perhaps rearranging articles in case none come in.

    My favorite bits were the apparent contradictions (paraphrasing): jetfighters set new airspeed record; no survivors in experimental jetfighter crash. I imagine the air force PR person tasked with sending out the first of those two press releases, struggling to put a positive spin on the day’s tragic events lest their family lose more privileges.

    I love how elegantly it makes its statement while still being original and entertaining.
