This game is weirdly bugged (at least for me.) I can’t expand territories at times, even with the resources. Or maybe it isn’t a bug and I’m really missing something? I dunno.
Huh, weird – I was able to finish it with both endings.
Yeah, I see what my problem was. And no it’s not a bug, I’m just a dumbface.
(hint: don’t try to expand cities when next to other cities.)
I also needed time to figure out cities can’t overlap. Eventually I got both endings. Ludum Dare really makes this world a better place.
This is a fun little sim, and I really like the generation constraint, but it feels like a missed opportunity for authorship. That both endings are happy, despite being polar opposites, feels conflicted. What was the creator trying to say by affirming both options?
